Company History

FLI’s story began in April of 2003 when a number of employees were presented with the opportunity to leave their existing brokerage of over 10 years and begin a new venture as a shareholder of a new company. At that time our team included only 10 people and we arranged transportation for about 100 loads a month. Together our shareholder group developed a vision for the future and forged ahead. Today, our team is close to 50 members strong and we move close to 100 loads a day. We have developed into a successful employee owned company that has found a way to keep the small office feeling of friendship, respect, and reliability but deliver big business results, security and success.

Everyone in the industry has heard about those “Bad Brokers” who don’t take care of their customers and skip out on their carriers, leaving the industry with an uneasy feeling of who to trust.
